Privacy Policy

Clint Barbosa operates Roll Cleaner. Kurinto is a product brand, not a separate company. This policy describes what happens on your phone, what Google may see for ads, and what Apple, Google, and RevenueCat see if you pay for Roll Cleaner Plus.

Photos stay on this phone

Roll Cleaner reads your photo library on the device to find duplicates, screenshots, and old photos. We do not upload your photos. We do not create an account. We do not send pictures to Clint Barbosa or Kurinto.

What stays on the device

A small on-device cache (photo ids and look-alike fingerprints) lives in SQLite on the phone so the next scan is faster. That cache never leaves the device. Deleting the app removes it.

Background indexing

For a large photo library, checking every photo can take a while. iOS may occasionally let the app continue this check for a short time in the background — the same on-device process described above, nothing is uploaded and nothing runs while the app is fully closed. iOS decides if and when this happens; it is not continuous and not guaranteed.

Camera for exercises

If you unlock more deletes with an exercise, the camera turns on so the app can recognize a hand gesture that starts the exercise and track your body's movement to count reps or time. This runs entirely on the phone using on-device gesture- and pose-recognition software (Google's MediaPipe). Camera frames and the body points detected from them are processed in memory only — they are never saved to the phone, never uploaded, and never used to identify you or compared against anyone else. They disappear as soon as you leave the exercise screen. See the exercise disclaimer in Terms of Use before you try one; this is not medical advice.

Ads from Google

The free app shows ads from Google AdMob. Ads do not see your photos. A paid subscription turns those ads off. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier and, if you allow App Tracking Transparency, data to choose relevant ads. Google may also use approximate location for ads. You can ask the app not to track. The app still works.

Purchases

If you pay for Roll Cleaner Plus (removes ads and raises your daily delete limit), Apple or Google process the payment. RevenueCat sees an anonymous app user id and the store receipt so the app can keep Plus active. They do not see your photos. We do not create a login for you.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email (unless you write to support), password, or photo files. Do not read this as “nothing is sent anywhere.” Ad requests go to Google. Purchase receipts go to Apple or Google and RevenueCat.

Processors

Your choices

You can deny photo access, use Limited Photos or Pick photos, turn off tracking, cancel a subscription in Apple or Google subscriptions, Restore purchases after a reinstall, or uninstall the app. To report an inappropriate ad, use Settings in the app or email [email protected].

Roll Cleaner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
